this series of recent breezy paintings, are about how it feels to glance at the landscape while riding a bike or even while in a car.. how with each second the view behind you is immediately and instantly a memory

and how the sea the houses the cottages the colors the smells the feelings are a flash a blur a surreal mood as they whisk by, and depending on the song or the dialog between your ears, what rises to the surface as significant within each passing snapshot glance, could also include seasons past, as well as seasons to come. you see think hear and smell last summer. and maybe some next summer.

therefore, the landscape is a feeling,

rather than a place. its a mood, not a town.

bc as you pass through it, each frame has just become an instant memory, its actually transitioned into the past just as you propel forward into the future. so essentially,

you are a shape shifting time traveler.

just thinking your thoughts.

traversing realities.

isnt it wild to be alive?

so im trying to paint THAT.
