It is SAFE TO SAY that the skies in november on the cape and islands are never disappointing. 
and this year, it seems as though they've been legendary! (however, i may say that every year, if anyone has been keeping track/if im being honest, whichever comes first..)
i painted this piece after watching the glow of pre golden hour- magic settle in, for weeks! we are talking WEEKS of outstanding sky watcher /walker bliss- now GRANTED, this glow in november, does begin to truly find its footing at the rather uncivilizedhour of 3:45pm- which is rough in many many ways, but ABSOLUTELY worth it when the sky shows are this magnificent.
AND YES im sure there is an easy metaphor about waiting for the passing clouds and storms to pass so you can get to the inevitable rainbow... but nope you are better than that and you get it.
