umm so i dont know about you, but the baby fake out spring that was indeed totally a fake out bc currently it is 20 degrees outside -
WAS A WILDLY EXQUISITE TEASER THAT MADE EVERY INCH OF ME FEEL HOPEFUL AND HOLY AND DELIGHTED AGAIN, 🤩🥳🥳😭😭🤓😍😍, after this, such an intense pandemic year 
(?YEAR😳?) for ALL OF US. 
it made me so happy and got me soooo excited that at what felt like every other step outside, i would literally stop, close my eyes and raise my face to the sun, and EXHALE. often loudly, and even wonder at times, if i was going to cry, or WHAT. 😐😶🤗

yep so i painted this.smiling the whole damn time, the deep disco beats steady, in some grateful celebratory burst of playful neon and pastels and splash 💦🍀💙🌸💙🌼💦

and allll the blues were invited and allllll of lilly P's and ralph L's friends were invited to come play at this floral house party, in some preppy fantastico flash of fabulous, and when they swirl twirl walked in, well turns out Questlove was the dj and that love was turned up to 11❣️👑
oh i totally george clinton & parliament there too, please believe it, they were by the pool dancing and laughing somebody spilled some cheetos and you get the idea. 

it was not a depressive winter scene in my mind.

and so now i am finishing a commission, then ABSOLUTELY continuing this floral extravaganza in a new little series.
